Patrick Mahoney
Director of Communications
Patrick Mahoney, Director of Communications, started his career in the IDD field in 2010 as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with Hands of Heartland. He has held positions such as Day Center Supervisor, Program Coordinator, and Project Manager. Prior to working with HOH, Patrick spent eight years with the Literacy Center for the Midlands, a non-profit focused on adult literacy and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, where he coordinated both student and volunteer programs as well as community outreach.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Northwest Missouri State University and studied photography and design at the Kansas City Art Institute.
